I know I've posted this before and sure don't mean to be crying wolf, but this weekend (probably) I'm going to be taking this blog off line. It's been too tough to manage both (my private blog and this one). So, if you're interested (maybe?) in my private one, let me know and I can send you an invite. Otherwise, updates will be there and not here.
I am a 30ish LDS single female posting some notes about my life.

I think I've noticed
That I'm kind of over this whole blogging thing.

People who annoy me
Have I posted about some of my classmates this semester? I think I have, but I will touch this subject again. I am in classes with JERKS. Big, freaking jerks who don't give a crap about anyone but themselves. Who don't give a crap about their education or how their disregard for others affects others, too. (That's not a good sentence but I don't care.)
I was partners with a girl in my math class. She's a tool. All she cares about his partying and whatever the else heck she does. I wasn't going to be partners with her at first (I HATE GROUPS PROJECTS! My instructor says it's to teach us "how to work with our colleagues"...but that doesn't freaking fly when your colleagues are IDIOTS and don't give a crap about anything or anyone else!) but then she came over to me and kind of recruited me to be with HER because she didn't want to partner with this OTHER classmate. (This other classmate is LDS also, and a very nice girl. She's getting married next month and just because she's different and grew up very sheltered doesn't mean she's not a good person. This other classmate gets tormented and disrespected by a certain group of girls in the program.)
Anyway, I tried to plan with the first girl. We met ONCE several weeks ago. We had to plan a 5-day unit, etc. etc. So, to make a long story short, she texts me SUNDAY NIGHT AT 12:45 AM asking me stupid questions about the assignment that is DUE THE NEXT DAY. Then, she didn't even DO what she was supposed to do. What we had planned on. THEN, after we do our presentation, she tells a different classmate today that it was MY FAULT the whole thing sucked. (I didn't really think it sucked. We went first and I think we did actually better in our write up then the other classmates.) And, thankfully my friend that she talked to (Let's call JERK partner JERK 1, and then my classmate she spoke with is FRIEND 1) told her that it probably would have been better had we actually MET IN PERSON TO PLAN WHAT WE WERE GOING TO DO FOR OUR PRESENTATION.
Some people.

The past however-many-days...
Oh man. I'm still here.
Things are flying left and right and I'm doing all I can to white-knuckle it and hang on. Hang on to my sanity, among other things.
Having this blog really isn't a bad thing. Then why do I feel bad for not updating it? :)

So, I remember this blog was supposed to be geared towards my weight loss
But, have I really posted anything about that? No. I haven't. So, here we go.
As of today - I weigh 225 pounds. 225 POUNDS! That is amazing, because in 12/06 I weighed 284. That's right, 284. I can't believe that I've almost lost 60 pounds! My BMI used to be 45.8 (at 284 lbs.) and now it's down to 36.3. There is still more I need to do to get my BMI down, but I will. I will get there. It's not a race and it's about making lifestyle changes, which I know I have.
Have I mentioned that website I found? I have a link to it on the side - I highly recommend it if you're interested in losing weight, etc. It is a great resource! It's helping me track my weight and my food and what I find great about it is that there food data base is HUGE. You don't have to track/calculate the calories of the food you eat because they have it there for you.

Reminders
I know and continue to remind myself of the following:
1). Men and women are different. Plain and simple. No getting around that fact.
2). Men and women communicate differently also.
3). Misunderstandings are normal, common, and a part of life. Doesn't mean something is wrong, or bad - they just happen sometimes.

An addition and a couple of deletions
1). I have no time to read for pleasure - so I removed that link of "Current Reads".
2). I added a link on the side to this fantastic website. If you are losing weight, or wanting to, click on the link and check it out.
3). I love Days still, but removed the picture thing because it looked stupid.

The one where I made a new word
"Trackulate"
I told my brother earlier today that I needed batteries for my stationary bike - it's a cool bike he gave me that has a screen that monitors all sorts of things, and one thing it does is trackulates my calories.
:)
